Kauffman Foundation Renovation
The experience of Kauffman’s headquarters improved dramatically following a series of subtle, meticulous and elegant interior and exterior renovations that better aligned the facility’s functions with the organization’s brand and mission.

The scope of the 130,000-s.f. renovation project included strategic planning services, cost analyses, multiple schematic layouts and final design solutions. Our most significant solution separated Kauffman’s extensively used conference center from its private offices, which improved the flow of both spaces while supporting the diverse needs of the facility’s array of users.

Upgrades to the entry experience, meeting spaces, and security, food service and wayfinding functions were designed to make the conference center more effective, robust and versatile.

The integrated renovations created a flexible, collaborative and technically sophisticated workplace environment that is better able to empower organizational success and support the foundation’s impact on the global economy.
